Gentleman Barber Lounge is the concept of founder and owner Mario Malgeri. Mario, an avid traveler, baseball lover, and old soul, has road-tripped to almost every MLB stadium in the country. During his travels, Mario documented the many barber shops he visited. Some brought back memories of old barber shops he patronized as a child with his father and uncles. He started collecting vintage barber shop memorabilia and keepsakes. In 2023, although not a barber himself, he decided he wanted to share his love of old-school barber shop services and the nostalgia that accompanies them. He found the perfect spot in Hoboken to create his vision. Introducing Gentleman Barber Lounge, a distinguished barbershop setting the standard for sophistication and style in the industry. Specializing in impeccably crafted haircuts and luxurious hot towel shaves, our services are designed to elevate the grooming experience to a whole new level.
